Teasley: Thank you to veterans and to our educators. Thank you to our parents and all the good work.
Baker: Thanks to pastor for kind words and all you do. 4H - Thank you for leading here and leading at your school. Ms. Hughes - I look forward to seeing you in your new leadership role. Bradley - When was women’s wrestling started here? (1998) We’ve come a long way since then! Retired Educators - Mrs. Teasley keeps us in line. My kids had success in their lives due to their teachers. It is my honor to work with our vets in a nursing home and that video was the most moving video I’ve seen.
Aloof: Veterans day means a lot to me. My Dad survived Utah beach and I always think about that generation on veterans day. Thank you to 4H and thanks to the parents. Congratulations to the new position and congratulations to the Girls Wrestling coach. Retired educators even was well attended.
Teasley: Thanks to the voters for passing the eSPLOST. I’m so thankful to the voters. I volunteered at JA and it was great. Even the students endorsed the program and were very appreciative of all of the learning.

Jessica Fisher - 0 tolerance bully policy is not working. Victims get punished for reacting to bullying. Teachers are not appreciated enough. District needs to take into consideration teacher mental health because teachers don’t get enough support.
Joshua Workman - Father of 3. Concerned with school safety after seeing reports of students carrying weapons on campus. He suggests metal detectors. He spoke with someone that said metal detectors aren’t 100% but he believes even if it only works 80% of the time then it is worth it. He graduated in NC in 2000 and he had metal detectors. He also thinks there should be more resource officers and/or maybe Army vets could be hired (after background checks) to help increase security at the schools.
