Contract for the providers of tennis lessons/camps at Patriots Park. About 200 kids annually. Not all courts are used so other courts are open for individuals, community leagues, etc.

(I1a6) Library Services Agreement with the Greater Clarks Hill Regional Library System: Move to Consent
This has the 6-month contract rather than 1-year since voting to become regional system. It includes the new budget amounts.
(I1a7) Contract Renewal Number 3 with Alex Cooper for Computer Instruction at the Libraries: Move to Consent
$30/hour up to 30 hours/ week. 1600 participants/ year. Will be working with Ms. Evans to expand offerings.

Fire and Emergency Services
(I1b1) Purchase of Scott SCBA Compressor and Fill Station from Breathing Air Systems: Move to Consent
This is a new unit for Station 12. The unit from Station 12 will move to Station 10 for the dive team.

Billing Software 7/1/2025-6/30/2026. Hiccups receiving payments because legacy account numbers didn’t work. The call volume this month to the water dept was up 600 calls. Fees/shutoff suspended this month. Should be fixed now.
(I1b3) Xylem Water Solutions USA, Inc Proposal for the Emergency Purchase of a Flygt NP 3312 Pump: Move to Consent
A pump at waste water plant failed unexpectedly. Already purchased because it was an emergency.
(I1b4) Purchase from Yancey of a Compact Track Loader: Move to Consent
End of service life for existing equipment. $63,000 which is under budget.

(I1c1) “Waze for Cities” Data Sharing Agreement: Move to Consent
Upload traffic, construction and school zone information to share with Google. Attorney found it “palatable” because you can’t really negotiate with Google. Chairman Duncant stated this is what the State uses. Allison Couch asked if there was a way to upload information about where tractor-trailers get stuck in District 4. There is another app that is more commonly used, so staff will try to upload that information to those apps.

This is for design services to change from a rural dirt road to a paved a road. Started looking at this 6 months ago but stopped due to Hurricane. 2-3 months ago, put out a request for bids on design with cost estimates. Most came in around $1.5 million. There is a future county park at the end of the road.
