The next scheduled meeting is Tuesday November 18, 2025 at 6:00 PM in the Auditorium of Building A at the Evans Goveernment Center.
The easement donations for both the Chastaine Place turn lane and the Horizon South Chamberlain Rd connection show how voluntary property rights transfers can faciliate public infrastructure development. The fact that the Horizon South project is alredy 50% complete suggests good coordination between the county and property owners. This kind of cooperation helps avoid lengthy eminent domain proceedings.
