(I1a1) Change Order Number 1 with MB Kahn for the UV-Advanced Oxidation Treatment. Approve: Yay 5, No 0
Change is $386,949.83. This is to close out this project. It eliminates odor/taste in water. $13.185 million. Decreased by liquidated damages. We are the first in Georgia to have this type of system. They inject peroxide and UV-light to get rid of the chemicals that cause taste/odor issues. It also helps with algae bloom issues, but we’ve never had that problem.
