Is it just me or does it seem that the board members and county super shut KA down when she asks a question? It seems that PK and KA are the only ones who question and do not rubber stamp anything put forth by the county office. JMO.
Yes and no. If we’re following Robert’s Rules of Order, they are supposed to stay on that one motion that’s being debated. They were all in favor of going back to the rollback rate and it was turning into a budget debate which was not the motion on the table. These meetings have been dragged out to 4 hours so I think it can be prudent to stay on topic. However, I do like discussion and not necessarily a rubber stamp on everything. They will debate amendments to the budget probably at the next meeting.
